Program Theme: The Infinite Path of the Bodhisattva
How do we meet the uncertainty of our world with a heart that is both stable and open? How do we transform the challenges of our time into fuel of loving-kindness, peace, and wisdom for ourselves and those around us?
Join us as we explore the Bodhisattva path through mediation, talks, and community service. It is a path of wisdom and courage that sustains itself by compassionately engaging with others.
Drawing from Asanga’s Bodhisattvabhumi, the Three Steps One Bow Journals, and James Carse’s Finite and Infinite Games, we will explore how to walk the Bodhisattva path as an infinite journey of depth and breadth.
Location: DRBU Sudhana Center, 225 South Hope Streetin Ukiah, California.
Please note: Digital devices will be collected at check in. This week is a rare opportunity to look deeply into our minds free of the distractions from our devices (while giving others the space to do so as well).
Application process: Please fill out the application. Space-permitting, there may be a follow up interview via phone, Zoom, or in person. If you are not admitted to the retreat, your full payment will be refunded. Given the length of the form, you may find it helpful to work on your answers in a separate document and then paste them in.
